Don't take my word for it.

I was in one of two modes — train like mad and eat like a saint, or smash the takeaway and pints and cancel my gym membership. Working with Sean, I've found a much more sustainable middle ground.
— Liam
I didn't revert to my old ways of bingeing after a tough day. I have great tools in my toolkit now to pick things up the next day — or even the next week.
— Chris
It's become enjoyable and no longer a toxic struggle. I'm moving towards a healthier relationship with food — and I feel like I could carry this on.
— Tom
Sean did not push to keep working together. His aim is to make us self-sufficient — and I would say he easily achieved that with me inside 6 months.
— Nicole
I feel like I'm not living like a monk… but equally I'm not self-sabotaging. I'm the lightest I've been in years and I feel loads better about myself.
— Matt
The old me would have been like "f*** it, it's a big week" and fallen off the healthy bandwagon. Now I know I could handle those situations a lot better.
— Ali

Slightly Ginger Vertically Challenged Human

I'm Sean — health and fitness coach based in Queenstown, and the least intimidating person you'll meet in a gym.

What Happened
The Spiral
When I went travelling. Beers, Uber Eats, and a bunch of life stuff. Lost the plot completely.
Sean enjoying food - the middle ground
Now
The Middle Ground
Found the balance. I can enjoy life without losing control. Progress over perfection.

Much of my 20s were a blur of beers, Uber Eats and questionable decisions (other than meeting my girlfriend—that was obviously a good one if she's reading).

I've spent the past decade helping people get out of the all-or-nothing cycle — not by handing them a strict plan and crossing my fingers, but by helping them build practical systems that work in real life.

I'm not here to judge what you eat, how long you've been off track, or the fact that Sunday got a bit out of hand. I am NOT the food police! And I will not be asking you to drink kale smoothies whilst sunning your hoop in the morning.

I combine nutrition, exercise, habits, and mindset — because fixing just one bit rarely works on its own. If you want practical, honest coaching that fits around real life — not some idealised version of it — then we'll probably get on well.

Peak Nutrition Podcast

Short episodes on food, habits, mindset, and making health work in real life.

No fluff, no toxic positivity, no guest who wants to sell you something. Just honest, practical stuff you can actually use.

Peak Nutrition Podcast

Practical health and fitness talk for people with actual lives.

A few things people usually ask.

Do I need to be fit already?
Not at all. A lot of the people I work with feel rusty, unfit, or like they've lost momentum. That's exactly the point.
Will I need to track calories?
Not necessarily. Sometimes it can help, but plenty of clients make great progress without turning their life into a spreadsheet.
Can I still eat out, drink, and have a social life?
Yes. That's a big part of how I coach. The goal is not to become a monk. The goal is to make progress without everything falling apart every time real life happens.
What's the difference between PT and online coaching?
PT is best if you want in-person guidance with training. Online coaching is broader and helps with nutrition, habits, mindset, routine, and consistency across the whole week.
